Learn about our Dixie Belle Paint, painting techniques, waxes & distressing in this 3hour workshop. Dixie Belles motto is EASY PEASY and we are going to prove it to you once and for all!!
Heres a chance to try it out and have a great time completing your own DIY project.
$35.00 Workshop Fee,
*Includes 8 OZ Dixie Belle Paint ( choose color during registation), paint brush & clear coats.
*Bring Apron or wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on!
1.) Choose a small furniture piece, like something you've stuck in a closet, down in the basement, or shoved into a spare room with clutter all over it! Neglected,but don't want to throw it out kind of piece.
Guide for size: no larger than what you can fit in you front seat of your car or that you can carry comfortably. This will assure you of having enough time to successfully finish in the 3 hour time of work shop.
2.) Inspect piece for any repair that is needed before paint workshop, example, (damage that may need gluing, or re-nailed or screws tightened) this should be done prior to workshop.
3.) Text a photo of item to review if you have any questions regarding size or condition. You can send photo to 256-294-7050.
Dixie Belle has 2 awesome products that help with shiny surfaces as well as darker pieces that may result in bleed through ( we hate sanding when not needed) these products do the trick, if needed you can stop by The Front Porch and we can hook you up with the right product to prep your piece before the workshop. (Slick Stick and BOSS needs at least 24 hour drying time before paint.)
